Boards occasionally rubbed, cover worn along extremities. Leather on spine occasionally cracked and slight damage. Frontispiece vol. I waterstained. First ca. 50 pages vaguely waterstained in upper margins. Both bindings with stamp on first endpaper, first binding with annotation, in ink. Frontispiece vol. II with small chip lower left corner (not affecting the image).
